A total of 9 percent of young people aged between 18 and 25 said they had vaped occasionally in 2024. This is a decrease compared to 2023. Between 2021 and 2023, more young adults started vaping, and the share rose from 2 percent to 13 percent. The sale of flavoured e-cigarettes has been banned since 1 January 2024, in order to make vaping less attractive to young people.
